Valcent™ Products (eu) Limited is a wholly owned subsidiary of Valcent Products Inc. It is a dynamic and innovative company, concentrating on the key environmental issues of sustainable food supply, water and chemical use in food production, food security and reduction of food miles.
The UN Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO) is warning that the world food supply is not only shrinking, but that water supplies are becoming more limited. As the world’s population expands there is growing competition between land use for food production, domestic housing and international fuel crop production.
It is apparent that we must make better use of available land. Valcent™ is dedicated to developing new technologies to address these concerns of which the ground-breaking VertiCrop™ HDVGS (High Density Vertical Growing System) is one of the outcomes.
